Laura & Sebastian

Mediterranean Wedding

Let’s celebrate! The intimate wedding of Laura and Sebastian, with romantic wedding ceremony, always enchants us. In the summer, the two celebrated their dream wedding after waiting for this day for a long time.

Romantic, Mediterranean and timeless was the motto.

Photographically this day was accompanied by our dear friend and photographer Julie Neiss.

Laura proved to have an eye for pure romance when choosing her wedding dress. The delicate lace on the sleeves and neckline suited her 100%. A bridal look that was made for this wedding!

The gorgeous backdrop of the wedding location was simply picturesque. Blooming nature, distant sea view with romantic Mediterranean flair. This wedding shows once again that it doesn’t have to be over the top at all to create a real wow factor!

We transformed the terrace into a real sea of lights. Custom made wooden structures with light white fabric panels and boho lights amidst the greenery…were a real highlight.

This is where we got to dine with our bride and groom. This was a beautiful moment for us as planners, as we are usually always in the background as wedding planners…but in this case, they requested that we sit at the guests’ table with them.

Since such a beautiful connection was formed during our planning time and the wedding was on a small scale, we gladly agreed.

The wedding ceremony took place in the beautiful palm garden.

Here, the groom’s family composed their own songs and provided real goosebumps moments.

As a wedding speaker I was allowed to accompany the ceremony of the two and could get a great insight into the unique love story of the two.

After the ceremony we went to the champagne reception at the pool.

Another goosebump moment. Our soul singer Sharon enchanted with classics and provided a great atmosphere.

For the table decorations, Laura really wanted to avoid flowers that would have to be thrown away the next day, so we decided to stage rustic herb pots and use lots of candles.

Olive branches, artichokes, rosemary, thyme, lemons…a sea of scents which was only topped by the delicious barbecue smell of our favorite caterer.

The perfect realization of a romantic Mediterranean wedding with lovely Italian-inspired details!

Grazing Table

For the food concept at Laura and Sebastian’s wedding, we decided on the grazing table concept.

Here, all guests sit together at a richly decorated table consisting of many different starters and eat together, so that sociability and the idea of togetherness are the focus of this concept.

Unlike other food concepts, such as a candy bar, there are no limits to the Grazing Table. In any case, the overload character is characteristic.

The Grazing Table stands in stark contrast to other food concepts with its imperfect arrangement and numerous variety.

Now the new year is coming soon and so are many new trends. We are always inspired by colors, fabrics and materials from different countries.

Especially on the subject of decoration and floristry, we always advise our brides and grooms very precisely on the new trends and take great care that they do not just follow a trend, but that you still like to look at the pictures of your wedding in 20 years.

The decoration & flowers trends 2022

In 2022, the trends in decoration are fortunately very broad and stand for timeless elegance and modern fabrics, colors and cuts. On the one hand, we see muted, feminine colors and soft pastels. Here, Dusty Rose continues to be an accent color that will appear again and again in the color concept. But also strong and contrasting colors, like purple and red, are back in trend in the new year and stand for luxury and elegance.

The color green will become THE new neutral color, eclipsing white and black in 2022. Absolute trend colors are also silver sage and mustard.

To note, of course, at any wedding is the cost of flowers and decorations. Many couples do not want to spend too much money unnecessarily on flowers that you have to throw away the very next day. Especially flowers in trendy colors like yellow, occa or purple are incredibly expensive to buy and you can therefore simply use them as a contrast color with neutral cheaper flowers. Due to the Corona crisis, there was a great flower shortage last year, which drove the prices up again significantly. So you should always be sure to keep this in mind when you start looking for initial ideas for your wedding.

Our recommendation is to work in any case with great Materialeren, such as crystal glasses, beautiful linen tablecloths and Servierten and noble porcelain, because so even minimalist can create a stunning concept, which is timeless and elegant.

Who needs a round bouquet in 2022? In the new year, the bridal bouquet is also all about structure.

Quirky bouquets and cascading bouquets with exotic blooms such as orchids, lilacs, amaranthus, sarracenia or anthuriums are becoming increasingly popular.

Here, too, the pastel tones are picked up and layered with various flowers, such as poppies, peonies and hydrangeas.

In addition to these pompous and eye-catching bouquets, however, very simple floral arrangements, for example with lily of the valley, are also at the top of the trend list.

We are inspired by the latest trends and fashion worldwide and will definitely create a decoration together with you that reflects you perfectly.

This brings us to another important point, which also plays an essential role in small intimate weddings for a stress-free and unforgettable celebration.

Namely, hosting by an experienced Wedding Planner on the day of the wedding itself.

Contrary to what many assume, the stress of planning a wedding doesn’t end until the last guests have left the party. This means, no matter if the wedding planning is timed and planned down to the smallest detail before the big day or not – the coordination on the actual day of the wedding means one thing above all: stress.

Even for us as experienced planners, it is always a physical challenge. We are on site from the first delivery and only go home when the last guest is in his shuttle. In between, we almost always walk 20 kilometers to coordinate each point optimally. Good transitions are the great art of a successful event. Keeping the atmosphere high at all times is the biggest challenge, which requires a lot of experience and knowledge of human nature. It is exactly this experience that you will benefit from if you book a good wedding planner.

You as the bridal couple should be able to enjoy your very special day to the fullest. Therefore, it is almost inevitable to give the coordination into the hands of someone else. This can of course be a family member, the groomsmen or even the bridesmaids, but like the bride and groom, family and Co. Always closely involved in the events themselves and should be allowed to enjoy the day together with you.

The larger the number of guests and the more service providers are involved, it is also useful to leave this coordination to a professional. The wedding planner is, unlike family and friends, not so emotionally involved and can act more clearly in case of problems or questions and react quickly with the appropriate solution through his experience.

Also, besides the bride and groom, no one knows the concept as well as the Wedding Planner. For example, while the bride and groom are being styled, the planner can make sure that the elaborate concepts, such as the wedding arch and table decorations, are properly prepared. The planner coordinates all service providers and tackles the location changes, so that no inappropriate waiting times arise for the guests and the transitions on the wedding day run smoothly and are always heralded with the appropriate music.

Each guest also has a contact person if the shoe pinches somewhere, something was forgotten, a car is in the way, someone gets a migraine, the service providers have delivered the wrong tablecloths, the singer has forgotten his microphone, the installer hangs the lights too low, someone has a food allergy that he forgot to tell and and and…. We could tell you hundreds of things that go wrong at a wedding and that we save in the background without our bridal couples even noticing.

We hope we could give you a little insight into the wedding and planner world with this article and look forward to getting to know you.
